Cabins on the Buffalo — FAQs

Do cabins and lodge rooms require a reservation?

It is highly recommended. Lodging is the only thing that requires a reservation. Canoes, kayaks and campsites are first come, first served.

How do I book a cabin or lodge room?

You will still need to call us for the remainder of the 2026 season. Beginning April 1, 2027 you will pick your dates above, check availability and book online in about a minute — you will be reserving the exact cabin or lodge room you choose. Card pre-payment is required at the time of booking, and you can also call the office during business hours.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Arrive any time after 2pm and check-out by 11am. There's no need to check-in in the office upon arrival or departure— we'll email the details with your confirmation.

What should I bring for my stay and float trip?

Water shoes, a cooler with plenty of water and food, sunscreen, a dry box or bag, bungee cords, and a change of clothes. We sell water shoes, dry bags, ice and firewood in the camp store downstairs. Never take keys, wallets or valuables on the river — we'll hold them at the office free of charge.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancel 5 or more days out for a full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Inside 4 days is non-refundable, and there are no refunds for no-shows or early departures.

Are pets allowed in cabins or lodge rooms?

No. Pets are never allowed in any cabin or lodge room — no exceptions. A cleaning fee applies and you'll be asked to leave. Pets are welcome in the campgrounds and on float trips but must be on a leash.

See you at Bell Bridge.
